A website is the best place to publish a booster club's content, resources, and information. But it can be overwhelming to figure out what to include on a booster club website! Most booster clubs communicate information for the following topics:
- Volunteer
- Job descriptions
- Job training
- Volunteer sign up forms
- Membership
- Member plan prices & benefits
- Buy, renew, or upgrade your membership online

- Sponsor plan prices & benefits
- Buy, renew, or upgrade your sponsorship online

- Donate
- Make a one-time donation online
- Make a recurring monthly donation online
- Fundraisers
- A fundraiser = income generating events (such as a 5k or auction)
- One page per fundraiser
- Each page should include the who, what, where, when, why, and how of the fundraiser
- Events
- An event = expense generating events (such as a picnic)
- One page per event
- Each page should include the who, what, where, when, why, and how of the event

When writing content, be concise. After writing, remove as many words as you can. You will be surprised at how many words you can remove without affecting the message. By removing excessive, unnecessary words, you will maximize the odds that your audience will read everything.
Always aim to communicate the who, what, why, where, when, and how. Write well-researched, informative, and valuable content. Ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and free of spelling and grammatical errors. Aim for a conversational tone that resonates with your audience.
Remember that your website's visitors will include a wide variety of people. Parents, students, teachers, administrators, local businesses, donors, sponsors, and the general public will all visit your website. Each will want to know a different mix of information about your booster club.
When your club uses BoosterSpark, your website will use BoosterSpark's proven platform. You won't need to design a website from scratch, nor will you need to know any HTML or other website code.
